A digital designer is a graphic designer who specializes in web, video, and other digital media. As a digital designer, you are the creative mind behind the design of websites, software projects, online videos, and more. Your job duties are to consult with clients to learn their needs and wants, develop wireframes of your design ideas, and collaborate with other designers and developers to make your vision a reality. You can find digital designer jobs at design firms, marketing agencies, digital media companies, and other web-focused businesses. Since the creative world is shifting more towards freelancing, working for yourself is also a possibility.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a digital designer, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Digital Designer, you need strong visual design skills, proficiency in design principles, and a relevant degree in graphic or digital design. Key responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of digital marketing and content production projects across multiple client accounts.

  • Coordinate people, resources, timelines, and deliverables from project kickoff through final delivery.

  • Manage project timelines, budgets, scope, and risks, and communicate updates to ensure projects stay on track.

Job description

C2's client, a digital-first agency specializing in social media strategy, content creation, community management, and performance marketing, seeks a Digital Producer to lead the execution of digital marketing and content production projects across a diverse portfolio of client accounts.

The agency creates personality-driven, video-first content that turns audiences into long-term brand fans rather than one-time customers. Their work blends real-time content production with thoughtful planning, using strategy, creativity, and performance data to produce campaigns that resonate across platforms. This role sits at the center of that process, bringing clarity to moving pieces while coordinating people, resources, timelines, and deliverables from kickoff through final delivery.

Success comes from understanding how digital marketing work gets made. This is a production role, not a creative or strategy position. The person who thrives here enjoys bringing order to complexity, coordinating people and resources, anticipating challenges before they become problems, and keeping projects moving without losing sight of quality, budgets, or deadlines.
