Senior Specialist, Content DesignOverview
We are looking for a Content Designer who's interested in applying their expertise to new payments products. The ideal candidate has experience in content strategy and UX writing, drives effective decision making, thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment, and seeks to learn and grow. The position is based in Toronto.
Role
You'll join a Content Design team within the Customer Experience and Design team, part of Mastercard's Foundry, an interdisciplinary group driving innovation and design thinking forward within the company. We work on B2B2C products that power Mastercard's ability to deliver differentiated solutions for our customers and theirs.
In close collaboration with product experience and visual designers, researchers, strategists and product managers, your job is to help ensure that our products are customer-centric. You'll focus on when, where and how information is presented in the product experience so it makes sense to the user and tells a cohesive, compelling story.
In this role you'll:
Develop narratives, creating information architectures, writing UX copy, testing content, etc.
Serve on a multi-disciplinary team focused on B2B2C products
Develop content strategies for digital experiences, using research and testing to inform decisions and creating documentation to show your work
Write consistent, concise and accessible UI copy
Facilitate workshops and brainstorming sessions as part of a collaborative product development process
Scope work appropriately and demonstrate a strong understanding of best practices in content strategy and UX writing
Develop documentation that helps our customers successfully implement products.
Actively contribute to the internal CX&D community, promoting exchange of learning, best practices and new ideas.
All About You
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience .
Demonstrated expertise in managing content design workflows using best-practice methods to craft and validate solutions.
Ability to proactively and independently drive work forward, setting expectations, communicating effectively, managing approvals, and influencing stakeholders.
Superb writing and communications skills; expert storyteller.
Able to set clear objectives and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, fluid environment.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence strategic direction and cross-functional stakeholders.
