Purpose

The Digital Marketing & Communications Coordinator executes digital strategies and multi-channel campaigns to deepen overall digital ministry impact. This role works within the Communications & Digital Ministries team to connect our church community, expand Chapel Pointe Church’s digital presence, and ensure projects are organized and aligned with our mission.


Job Responsibilities


Digital Engagement & Promotions

     Email & SMS/Text Marketing

  • Build, schedule, and send targeted email newsletters, transactional communications, and engagement journeys using our email marketing platform
  • Strategy and implementation for text/SMS marketing campaigns for major event announcements, and ministry updates
  • Track and report key metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates) to optimize future messaging and segment audiences effectively.

     Paid Advertising & Digital Promotions

  • Plan, launch, and manage targeted digital ad campaigns (Meta Ads and YouTube) to reach the local community and invite newcomers
  • Monitor ad performance, manage campaign budgets, and optimize copy/creative to maximize return on investment and engagement

     Website & Mobile App Operations

  • Maintain and update content across the primary church website and mobile app to ensure information is accurate, accessible, and aligned with ministry goals.
  • Monitor UX/UI across web and app touchpoints, optimizing landing pages for events, giving, and visitor connection.
  • Analyze website traffic and app usage trends using Google Analytics to inform digital communication strategies.

Project Management & Collaboration

  • Manage marketing workflows, asset collection, and task schedules in our Task Management System to keep projects on deadline across departments
  • Collaborate closely within the digital ministries team
  • Support production, creative, and ministry leads to gather copy, media assets, and key details for upcoming initiatives
  • Other duties as assigned

  • 3–5 years of professional experience in digital marketing, communications, or a related role
  • Hands-on experience with platforms such as Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, or church-specific CRM email systems; familiarity with text platforms (e.g., Clearstream)
  • Demonstrated experience creating and optimizing Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram) and Google Ads
  • Experience managing website content (WordPress, or church CMS like Church Center and mobile app administration
  • Proficiency in project management software (Asana, ClickUp, or similar platforms) (required)
  • Ability to pull and interpret digital performance data (analytics, ad metrics, open/click trends) to inform future strategy
