Description
The Fund / Investor Marketing Manager will lead marketing strategies that build investor awareness, generate qualified inbound leads, and support capital-raising objectives. This role will create a scalable system for attracting, educating, and nurturing prospective investors.
The position will partner with finance, asset management, compliance, subject-matter experts, and the marketing team to deliver accurate, compliant, and institutional-quality investor marketing.
This is a marketing and lead-generation role. It does not include direct solicitation, investment recommendations, or activities requiring securities registration.
Key Responsibilities
Investor Lead Generation and Funnel Management
  • Develop strategies that generate qualified investor interest.
  • Own the investor marketing funnel, including lead capture, segmentation, nurture campaigns, CRM workflows, and conversion tracking.
  • Manage HubSpot or a comparable marketing automation platform.
  • Establish processes for qualifying and transferring investor inquiries to appropriately licensed representatives.

Fund Positioning and Campaign Strategy
  • Develop clear positioning and messaging for funds and investment offerings.
  • Translate investment strategies, performance, and market opportunities into investor-friendly narratives.
  • Create integrated marketing plans for fund launches, investment opportunities, and investor education.
  • Ensure consistent messaging across campaigns, events, materials, and digital channels.

Investor Communications and Content
  • Lead investor email, newsletter, educational content, and nurture strategies.
  • Direct the development of pitch decks, one-pagers, fund summaries, case studies, landing pages, and digital content.
  • Provide strategic direction and content briefs to internal and external marketing resources.
  • Maintain a library of current, approved, and compliance-ready materials.

Digital Marketing and Events
  • Manage investor-focused strategies across the website, email, LinkedIn, paid media, and landing pages.
  • Develop marketing plans for webinars, dinners, presentations, and investor events.
  • Coordinate audience targeting, promotion, registration, lead capture, and follow-up.
  • Track event engagement and resulting investor opportunities.

Analytics and Optimization
  • Establish key performance indicators for investor marketing.
  • Track lead generation, campaign engagement, conversions, and marketing-attributed opportunities.
  • Provide performance reporting and recommendations to leadership.
  • Manage the investor marketing budget and optimize campaigns based on results.

Compliance Coordination
  • Coordinate compliance review and approval of investor-facing communications.

Requirements
Required
  • Three to seven or more years of experience in financial services, investment marketing, real estate investment marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience developing lead-generation and nurture strategies.
  • Strong writing, messaging, digital marketing, and project-management skills.
  • Ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear communications.
  • Experience using campaign data to improve marketing performance.
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working in a regulated environment.

Preferred
  • Experience marketing private placements, investment funds, or alternative investments.
  • Experience communicating with accredited or high-net-worth investors.
  • Familiarity with securities marketing compliance.
