  • Coordinate new employee onboarding, orientation, and first-day experiences that introduce employees to MHIF's mission, values, culture, and Employee Value Proposition (Where Purpose Meets Progress), creating a welcoming and engaging start to their employee journey.
  • Prepare onboarding materials, IT requests, and workspace coordination.
  • Partner with Marketing to coordinate internal announcements, employee spotlights, and organizational communications that celebrate people, milestones, and culture.
  • Assist with creation and coordination of marketing collateral, presentations, and digital content that supports recruiting, employee engagement, and organizational initiatives.
  • Support employee engagement, recognition, wellness, and culture initiatives.
  • Help organize All Staff meetings, employee events, celebrations, learning opportunities, and develop engaging HR communications that reinforce MHIF's culture and Employee Value Proposition.

Human Resources Operations

  • Assist with and provide support for a variety of human resource processes, employee inquiries, and requests.
  • Administer benefit plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations, coordinating documentation with payroll and insurance providers.
  • Coordinate the employee offboarding process, including resignation and termination documentation, exit checklists, benefit notifications, system access coordination, and communication with internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth and compliant transition.
  • Conduct and/or coordinate exit interviews, track feedback and trends, and share insights with HR leadership to support employee retention and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with managers, IT, and Payroll to ensure timely completion of offboarding activities, including return of company property, final payroll coordination, and system access removal.
  • Ensure all offboarding documentation is completed accurately and maintained in accordance with organizational policies and applicable employment laws.
  • Maintain accurate HRIS and personnel records while ensuring confidentiality.
  • Contribute to HR reporting, process improvements, special projects, and support organizational communications, presentations, and marketing initiatives as needed.

Core Values in Action
