DevelopmentNow is an award-winning creative digital development agency in Portland, OR. We are currently seeking a Digital Project Manager. Our ideal candidate is an accountable, proactive self-starter who is personable and highly organized with a positive, results-driven attitude.
We transform businesses through mobile, web, and emerging technology solutions. We have provided digital solutions for a variety of companies, including startups, agency partners, and enterprise Fortune 500 firms. Some of our recent clients include Kelly Services, Microsoft, BBDO, AT&T, Ogilvy, Manheim, Avery Dennison, and Time Warner Cable.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of hands-on software project management in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with mobile app development projects a plus.
  • Familiarity with remote workflows.
  • Familiarity with project processes, including Scrum methodology and Agile principles.
  • Highly proficient with Jira and other applicable software.
  • Great time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Committed to quality, collaboration, achievement, and results.
  • Successfully managed risks while setting clear expectations.
  • Technical background and/or you have prior experience working at a digital agency.

Job Responsibilities
  • Coordinating projects from kickoff to post mortem.
  • Scheduling and running Scrum ceremonies and other meetings
  • Acting as the client point of contact: Responding to client communications in a timely manner, coordinating with clients/developers to facilitate project completion, emailing weekly status reports to clients, coordinating and leading client meetings.
  • Working with account management and internal and external development teams to coordinate project schedules, milestones, and resources.
  • Proactively following up on team and client deliverables.
  • Coordinating with the QA team to ensure that client deliverables meet quality standards.
  • Contributing to overall project process improvement through team collaboration.
  • Understanding Statements Of Work (SOW) and scope on projects.
