Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Digital Press Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality labels that meet customer specifications while operating and maintaining digital printing equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


The ideal candidate has previous printing press experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to producing consistent, high-quality products. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work with advanced digital printing technology while contributing to a quality-focused production team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Operate digital printing presses to produce labels that meet customer specifications and quality standards
  • Read and interpret job tickets, production orders, and work instructions
  • Load print jobs into the digital press and prepare materials for production
  • Fill ink systems and ensure proper ink supply throughout production
  • Start and operate printing equipment o
  • Run approval samples and verify print quality before full production
  • Inspect printed labels throughout production for defects and quality issues
  • Make machine adjustments to maintain color consistency, registration, and overall print quality
  • Enter production information including labor, materials, and job completion data into the job management system
  • Maintain accurate inventory usage records
  • Communicate production changes, job updates, and equipment issues to supervisors promptly
  • Report equipment malfunctions to minimize production downtime
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance on printing equipment
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Follow all company quality assurance and safety procedures


Qualifications & Skills

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum three years of manufacturing or related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Previous experience operating a printing press required
  • Digital press experience preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities
  • Ability to read and interpret production documents and job specifications
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to accurately read rulers, scales, and precision measuring devices
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
