The Collections Intern will support the Collections team with administrative and clerical tasks related to customer accounts. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in accounting, finance, or business operations while developing strong organizational and data management skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Upload and attach documents to customer accounts accurately and timely
  • Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry
  • Maintain organized digital and physical records related to collections activity
  • Assist with updating account notes and tracking documentation status
  • Support the Collections team with ad hoc projects as needed
  • Ensure confidentiality and accuracy when handling sensitive customer information

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed coursework in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
  • Ability to follow written procedures and meet deadlines
  • Reliable, professional, and eager to learn
  • Previous administrative or office experience
