Boston Light & Sound creates innovative solutions for audio, film and video presentation. We are please to work with clients around the world who require design, installation and integration of sound systems along with video/film projection systems to achieve exceptional performance.
Job Description
  • Installation and commissioning of complex Digital Cinema Systems
  • Preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of Digital Cinema Systems including emergency service
  • Set up and commissioning of Digital Cinema projectors in a production environment such as film festivals, premieres and private screenings

Qualifications
  • Barco Certified Expert (Christie and/or NEC certification a plus)
  • Trouble-shoot complex audio, video and control systems
  • Knowledge of low voltage AV presentation system installation practices and standards
  • Install and configure basic networking equipment, including a working knowledge of IP addressing schemes and operating practices
  • Knowledge of industry accepted grounding techniques, standards and code requirements
  • Working skills that include termination of standard industry connectors, proper wire dressing and routing and conduit installation practices
  • Demonstrated understanding of fundamental cinema presentation standards and practices
  • Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook and manufacturer specific applications)
  • Self-sufficient and self-motivated team player
  • Must be willing to travel up to 25% of the year
  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
