Job description

Job Overview: Crystal Clear Technologies is seeking a Cable Technician to support a Department of Defense customer at Fort Liberty. The Cable Technician will be responsible for providing inside and/or outside plant cable and fiber optic project support, to include installation, troubleshooting, and repair. Will be on a team with other Cable Journeymen. Job Requirements: 3+ years’ experience with fiber/copper termination
Understand different types of pathways
Good understanding of installs like flexible conduit Experience with testing of equipment, like with R meter and Optical Time Domain Reflectometer (OTDR)
Experience using Corning SC connector
Experience with data network cable installation
Familiarity with standard installation practices like grounding and bonding, cable forming and dressing, manhole/duct systems
General construction knowledge, such as holes in the wall, and repairing them
Understand BICSI standards
Must possess an active minimum DoD TS/SCI Security Clearance
Experience doing this kind of work within the Army is a plus
