Director, Digital Experience & Operations

Thornburg is seeking a Director, Digital Experience & Operations to lead the firm's marketing technology, digital operations, and digital experience capabilities. This role will help advance a more efficient, scalable, and digitally enabled marketing organization by improving systems, workflows, reporting, content governance, and digital platform effectiveness.

Working closely with Product Marketing, Editorial Strategy, Distribution, Compliance, Creative, Technology, and Data & Analytics teams, this position will oversee marketing platforms, website operations, campaign deployment infrastructure, workflow automation, vendor relationships, and operational reporting. The Director will play a key role in improving advisor engagement, content discoverability, execution efficiency, and the overall digital experience across Thornburg's marketing channels.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize Thornburg's marketing technology ecosystem, digital platforms, workflows, and vendor relationships.
  • Lead digital operations and enablement activities, including marketing technology administration, campaign deployment infrastructure, automation, governance, and reporting.
  • Own website strategy, administration, publishing processes, and ongoing enhancements to support advisor engagement, content distribution, brand experience, accessibility, and compliance standards.
  • Develop operational dashboards and reporting frameworks to monitor performance, capacity, productivity, digital channel effectiveness, and alignment with business priorities.
  • Partner across Marketing, Technology, Distribution, Compliance, Data & Analytics, and Creative teams to improve coordination, execution visibility, prioritization, and scalability.
  • Identify opportunities to improve content taxonomy, metadata strategy, personalization, workflow efficiency, digital effectiveness, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead and develop digital marketing, digital operations, and marketing technology resources while managing priorities, workloads, and vendor relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Information Systems, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
  • 58 years of experience in digital marketing, marketing technology, marketing operations, or related disciplines.
  • Demonstrated success managing marketing technology platforms, websites, workflow tools, marketing automation systems, and digital marketing operations.
  • Strong project management, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with experience improving processes, workflows, and campaign execution.
  • Experience working across Marketing, Technology, Compliance, Data & Analytics, and business teams.
  • Financial services marketing experience strongly preferred, including experience operating in regulated environments.
  • Experience with enterprise marketing technology platforms such as CRM, marketing automation, personalization, analytics, content management, sales enablement, and workflow management systems preferred.
  • Experience leading employees, contractors, vendors, or cross-functional projects preferred.
