Position Summary Associate Director of Digital Marketing Marketing and Communications Full-Time Southeast Missouri State University's Office of Marketing & Communications seeks a talented Associate Director of Digital Marketing to lead the University's digital marketing ecosystem by connecting strategy, storytelling, and technology to create meaningful engagement with prospective students, current students, alumni, families, and other audiences. The Associate Director oversees digital marketing operations across digital content, video production, email marketing, marketing automation, and web campaign content, leading a team of creative and analytical professionals responsible for producing high-quality digital experiences that support enrollment, advancement, and institutional priorities. Primary Responsibilities Develop and execute digital engagement strategies across owned digital channels to positively affect the recruitment of prospective students and achieve strategic goals Lead, coach, and develop a team of digital marketing professionals to create effective video, web pages, email marketing, and digital content to achieve conversions Ensure messaging and experiences are optimized for audience, channel, and customer journey stage Monitor and communicate performance against effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of campaigns as well as analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of those efforts in order to maximize results, meet KPIs, and make data driven recommendations to improve digital performance Collaborate with partners and stakeholders to determine scope of projects and cultivate relationships with faculty and staff as well as external partners, including developing measurable results with the client and provide post-campaign reporting and ROI analysis Serve as a college marketing liaison to assist in development and achievement of enrollment marketing goals Assist the Assistant Vice President of Marketing & Communications to set the tone internally for bold and big strategic and creative thinking that positions SEMO as a higher ed leader and destination and enthusiastically collaborate with team members to achieve University goals, create effective campaigns, and elevate the SEMO brand Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or related field Experience leading and managing successful digital strategies and integrated marketing campaigns from concept to execution, working across video, email, digital advertising, and web channels Experience managing teams Excellent understanding of key performance metrics and analytics reports and how to incorporate into data-driven decisions for successful campaigns Superb attention to detail as well as effective written and communications skills including experience writing for brands Superior project management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines Required Information & Deadline Application Deadline: To ensure full consideration, application materials must be received by August 5, 2026.
