JOB OVERVIEW:

The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for leading the strategic growth and execution of the Braves Development Company's digital presence for The Battery Atlanta and Pennant Park properties. Under the direction of the Director of Marketing & Events, this role will own and implement end-to-end digital marketing strategies that elevate brand awareness, drive engagement, and support enterprise-wide goals for the organization.

  • Create and execute social media content strategies that drive engagement and increase brand awareness for The Battery Atlanta, its tenants, and partners, while staying current with digital trends to enhance brand channels.

  • Manage and update the website to keep the brand presence fresh and relevant, working with the web agency to facilitate updates and enhancements.

  • Develop and execute both internal and external newsletters using Constant Contact (or a similar platform); evaluate performance and adjust strategies as needed to meet or exceed industry benchmarks.

  • Own the creation, scheduling, and performance optimization of email and SMS marketing campaigns to support events, promotions, and brand initiatives; segment audiences for targeted communications and track key performance metrics to refine strategy and improve engagement.

  • Collaborate with retailers to support events and promotional campaigns aimed at driving traffic and sales; place an additional focus on optimizing overage rent tenants through regular planning discussions with the Director of Marketing & Events and senior leadership.

  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities to strengthen our digital positioning.

  • Work closely with the Director of Marketing & Events to enhance the creative pipeline and develop new digital concepts aligned with broader organizational goals.

  • Co-manage the Marketing Trainee (in collaboration with other marketing team members) to support their growth in digital asset management and marketing best practices.

  • Proactively identify opportunities for personal and team upskilling in digital marketing to reduce dependency on third-party resources and bring added value to the enterprise.

KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics and Meta Business Suite

  • Strong understanding of storytelling across digital platforms

  • Ability to manage external vendors and deliver high-quality creative assets

  • Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with tools like Canva and/or Adobe Photoshop
