Job description

Job Title: Graphic Designer/Senior Graphic Designer

Department: Integrated Marketing and Communications

Reports to: Senior Manager of Graphic Design

Job Summary

FC Cincinnati is seeking a Graphic Designer/Senior Graphic Designer with a passion for digital rendering, layout design, and brand development. This role blends strong visual craft with an understanding of platform best practices to produce high-impact creative that deliver results. The successful candidate will understand the importance of strong communication skills and adhering to tight deadlines. A great attitude, a healthy ability to take constructive criticism/feedback on your work and attention to detail are musts. Beyond day-to-day tasks you have a desire to learn and develop your creative abilities. In addition to normal business hours, weekend, evening, and holiday work will be required as schedule and project workload dictates.

What You'll Do:

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to lead creative for corporate partners (new business) and current partners (upsells and renewals) through presentations, mockups, and other various materials
  • Creation and development of turnkey and customized templates that support revenue generation and partner retention
  • Execute graphic design projects including but not limited to sales collateral, advertising campaigns, digital graphics (website, social media, and video elements), stadium graphics, digital ads, merchandise design, logo design, and presentation decks for internal departments
  • Design high-performing ad creative optimized for platform best practices, audience targeting, and conversion goals
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal sales and account management teams
  • Balance brand consistency with performance and business needs, ensuring all creative aligns with brand standards while driving results
  • Manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
  • Prepare appropriate files for printers and vendors
  • Help organize and maintain structured file folders
  • Provide mentorship to interns, elevating craft and performance thinking across the team
  • Matchday duties will be assigned and will likely focus on live event production and live digital messaging

Match Day Responsibilities: The Graphic Designer/Senior Graphic Designer will have professional matchday obligations throughout the FC Cincinnati season, including preseason, regular season, postseason and in-season tournaments. Additionally, any special events hosted by the club - including international friendlies and/or charitable or large-scale community activities - are included.

What You'll Need:

  • 2+ years of graphic design experience, preferably within an agency or in a corporate environment
  • Proven portfolio showcasing high-performing creative across digital and print campaigns
  • Deep understanding of best practices for digital platforms
  • BS/BA in graphic design, UX/UI or related field or demonstrated work experience
  • Knowledge of and/or prior work in sports business sector is a plus
  • Knowledge of design techniques and emerging technologies
  • Expertise in current graphic design practices, including fluency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
