About the Role

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope (OBE) is seeking a Marketing Analytics Manager to lead the development of a modern, data-driven analytics function supporting CRL's digital commerce business.

This is a high-impact, highly visible role sitting at the intersection of marketing strategy, data engineering, and digital commerce performance. You will own the end-to-end analytics framework across key ecommerce properties (CRL.com, Online Programs/CPQ, USH, and OBE.com), transforming data from a complex marketing technology stack into actionable insights that drive business decisions.

This role manages one Marketing Analytics Analyst and partners closely with data engineering to centralize and scale data in Snowflake.


Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy & Leadership
  • Own and evolve the marketing and ecommerce analytics framework-defining KPIs, measurement strategy, and prioritization
  • Act as the primary analytics partner to Marketing, Digital Product, eCommerce, and Finance leadership
  • Partner with stakeholders to align analytics with business objectives and growth initiatives
Reporting & Insights
  • Own and deliver the end-to-end Marketing reporting package for executive stakeholders (VP and C-level)
  • Translate complex, multi-source data into clear, actionable insights and narratives
  • Build and maintain executive dashboards across:
    • Commercial performance
    • Channel effectiveness
    • Site engagement
    • Customer behavior and attribution
Data Infrastructure & Automation
  • Lead the roadmap to centralize marketing data into Snowflake, defining requirements and data specifications
  • Partner with data engineering to build, QA, and scale data pipelines
  • Prioritize and automate manual reporting processes based on business impact
  • Govern the marketing analytics data layer, including definitions, rules, cadence, and documentation
Channel & Customer Performance
  • Drive attribution modeling (first-touch, last-touch, multi-touch) and inform budget allocation
  • Identify conversion friction across digital funnels (CRL.com, CPQ, USH) and recommend improvements
  • Monitor and analyze customer lifecycle metrics, including churn, CAC, LTV, and retention

Required Tools & Experience

Candidates must have hands-on experience with the following tools:

  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
  • Google Tag Manager
  • Marketing automation platform (e.g., Braze)
  • Personalization tools (e.g., Dynamic Yield)
  • Google Ads & Microsoft Ads
  • Voice of customer / NPS tools (e.g., Qualtrics)
  • Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouse
  • SQL

QualificationsExperience
  • 5-8+ years in marketing analytics, digital analytics, or a related field
  • Experience managing or mentoring analysts
  • Background in B2B, ecommerce, or product-driven environments preferred
  • Proven ability to build executive-level reporting and present to senior stakeholders
  • Experience collaborating with data engineering teams to develop data pipelines
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong strategic mindset with the ability to connect analytics to business outcomes
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience working within Snowflake or similar environments
  • Excellent communication skills; able to translate technical insights for non-technical audiences
  • Strong prioritization and stakeholder management skills
  • Familiarity with attribution modeling methodologies
