Job Title: Digital Accessibility Analyst
Role Overview
We are seeking an analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate Digital Accessibility Analyst to join our digital product team. In this role, you will evaluate web and mobile digital products for adherence to accessibility best practices and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), ensuring our digital footprint is fully inclusive and compliant.
This is a high-impact, collaborative role bridging design, engineering, and product management. You will perform manual and automated audits, test using common assistive technologies, develop accessible user stories and acceptance criteria within an Agile environment, and guide stakeholders across design and development. Key Responsibilities
Accessibility Auditing & Testing
• WCAG Evaluation: Evaluate web and mobile digital products for adherence to current WCAG guidelines, translating standards into actionable design and development decisions.
• Compliance Audits: Perform comprehensive accessibility audits, track remediation efforts, and present clear audit findings to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Assistive Tech Testing: Utilize common assistive technologies (such as VoiceOver, NVDA, and screen magnifiers) to validate that digital accessibility solutions are effective and seamless.
Agile Integration & Cross-Functional Guidance
• User Stories: Develop accessibility-focused user stories, technical requirements, and acceptance criteria using Agile methodologies.
• Design & Dev Support: Provide expert accessibility guidance to UX/UI designers, software developers, and product owners throughout the product lifecycle.
• Continuous Improvement: Support ongoing testing processes and help foster an inclusive digital culture across the organization.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, OR equivalent professional experience defined as 4 years of corporate work experience.
• Experience Baseline: Minimum of 2 years of professional experience working in the field of digital experience design, UX research, usability, or digital accessibility.
• Technical Mastery:
oWorking knowledge of current WCAG guidelines and inclusive design principles.
oExperience conducting accessibility evaluations using manual testing techniques and assistive technologies.
oSolid computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Core Competencies: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or collaborate effectively in a team environment; strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; excellent oral and written communication skills.
