Seacoast Technology (IT & AVL) creates efficient systems and proactively identifies solutions through innovation and collaboration to empower staff and volunteers to meet ministry goals across all our campuses.
The Opportunity
The AVL Systems Coordinator is a hands-on technical expert who ensures all audio, video, and lighting systems are installed, maintained, and working smoothly during services and events across every campus.
This person will provide excellent technical support, training, and encouragement to staff, contractors, and volunteers — partnering closely with the Central IT Systems Team, Mount Pleasant Production Team, and the broader Technology Team to deliver distraction-free worship experiences every weekend.
What You'll DoOwn AVL Installation & Maintenance
• Install and maintain all AVL systems across all campuses, including audio consoles (DiGiCo Q338 and Q225, Allen & Heath Avantis and SQ series), speakers, amplifiers, wireless mics and IEMs, video switchers, routers, cameras, projectors and TVs, LED walls, lighting fixtures, lighting consoles, meeting room/conference systems, acoustic panels
• Support and troubleshoot all related software including but not limited to ProPresenter, Ableton Live, Klang, Waves SoundGrid, Dante, Wireless Workbench, DashBoard, ATEM, Onyx, grandMA and Q-SYS
Provide Tier 1 Support & Problem-Solving
• Respond promptly and accurately to helpdesk tickets and AVL support requests from staff, contractors, and volunteers
• Troubleshoot technical issues in real time and identify more efficient solutions
• Program and/or run AVL systems for services, conferences, and events as needed
Equip, Encourage, & Partner Across Teams
• Train and work alongside volunteers serving on Production and Tech Teams at campuses
• Work closely with the Central IT Systems Team and Mount Pleasant Production Team
• Ensure consistent standards, documentation, and reliability across all campuses
• Maintain strong relationships with campus staff and volunteers and drive excellence
• Travel regularly to campuses for support, installation, and event needs
• Participate in a weekly on-call rotation within the Technology Team
• Serve at events that occasionally take place outside typical business hours, including nights, weekends, or some holidays
• Christ follower (As a religious organization, Seacoast Church makes hiring decisions aligned to our faith and beliefs)
• At least 3 years of experience in a church or production environment working with audio, video, lighting, and acoustics
• Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt where needed
• Champion of time management: managing multiple tasks, prioritizing responsibilities, and providing information in a timely and effective manner
• Flexible schedule that includes weekends and some holidays
• Travel required, with local day trips and a few overnight trips throughout the year
