Digger Specialties, Inc., a family-owned company, has been manufacturing vinyl and aluminum fencing and railing for the Building Products and Outdoor Living industry since 1984. Our Team of Employees continues to grow as DSI adds new plant locations. Production Supervisor
SUMMARY : Supervises and coordinates the activities of production cells while ensuring a safe work environment that produces quality products to the customer on time.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Include the following. These duties are not inclusive, and additional duties may be assigned to the employee at any time.
  • Trains employees in the operation of machines and processes in the department
  • Interprets specifications and job orders to work crew; assigns duties
  • Establishes and adjusts work procedures to efficiently meet production schedules and processes
  • Inspects product to verify conformance to specifications and quality standards
  • Interprets company policies to employees and enforces safety regulations
  • Promotes good employee relations, motivates employees, addresses and resolves grievances
