About the Role: 
Join DICK WILLIAMS INC. as a Diesel Mechanic in Fort Myers, FL. 
Dick Williams Inc is a full-service shop and our highly qualified diesel truck mechanic team drive the success of our organization. We are in need of more experienced technicians. With two large warehouses, we serviced and repaired nearly a thousand trucks last year. The store location is in Fort Myers, Florida. Check out our website; www.dickwilliamsinc.com
Our customers count on us to maintain and provide service to repair drive shafts, brakes, suspensions, clutches, transmissions, A/C issues, PTO & hydraulics, engine problems and preventative maintenance to name a few. 

 
Responsibilities: 
  • Perform diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines and related systems.
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks and services on vehicles.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to assess vehicle performance.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in diesel technology.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements:
 
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in diesel mechanics or related field.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • ASE certification in diesel engines is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
