What is the $160,000 mechanic job that Ford can't fill?

The $160,000 mechanic job refers to highly specialized diesel mechanics working on large commercial trucks or heavy equipment, often with extensive experience, certifications, and the ability to perform complex repairs. These roles typically require skills in diagnostics, use of advanced tools, and sometimes on-call or weekend work, making them difficult to fill due to labor shortages in the industry.
