Are you a skilled technician who thrives on the open road and enjoys solving challenges on-site? SRM Concrete is seeking an experienced and resourceful Field Service Technician to join our team. In this dynamic, mobile role, you’ll travel to various job sites and plant locations to keep our fleet of trucks, mixers, and heavy equipment running at peak performance. Your Mission & Key Responsibilities
  • Travel to job sites and plant locations to perform routine maintenance, inspections, and emergency repairs on diesel-powered vehicles and equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in the field using advanced diagnostic tools and your technical expertise.
  • Rebuild, replace, or repair major components of diesel engines, such as heads, blocks, starters, and transmissions, on‑site as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, operations, and plant teams to coordinate service calls and minimize equipment downtime.
  • Maintain a well‑organized service vehicle stocked with necessary tools, parts, and safety equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures while working independently at remote locations.
  • Accurately document all maintenance and repair work performed in the field.
