Job description

Position Overview

Die Casting Production Supervisor – Kinetic Die Casting Company (March 2022).

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and train aluminum die casting machine operators and production employees.
  • Operate and maintain die casting machines, including setting up and changing cavity inserts and tooling.
  • Assist with mold/die set‑up using a forklift and oversee trim press set‑up.
  • Coordinate maintenance and contact repair personnel during equipment downtime; perform minor repairs.
  • Manage setup personnel and train them on cavity insert changes and tooling changes.
  • Monitor production schedules across three shifts and schedule or coordinate overtime when necessary.
Qualifications
  • Significant experience supervising die casting operations.
  • Proficient in operating Toshiba, HPM, and Harvill cold‑chamber die casting machines (250‑600 tons).
  • Knowledge of aluminum, zinc, and ZA27 die casting materials.
  • Experience with forklift operation for mold/die set‑up.
  • Strong leadership and training skills.
Benefits

$1,500 sign‑on bonus and $500 referral bonus are offered. Employees work four 10‑hour days and receive a three‑day weekend; 10‑hour overtime is also available.
