Summary: Responsible for driving profitable sales volume growth and market share within an assigned geographic territory by representing the companyโ€™s portfolio of beverage products with distributor and multi-unit chains. Develop and execute sales strategies with employees from foodservice distributor customers to grow Red Diamond sales volume and control expenditures including equipment service expenses.ย  Effectively plan and execute sales presentations to existing or prospective customers as the Red Diamond representative. Reviews market analysis to determine customer needs, volume potential, and price schedule.

Essential job functions:

Distributor Management

  • Identify and execute opportunities to expand distribution, increase menu placements, and drive incremental volume.
  • Develop strong working relationships with foodservice distributor leadership, sales representatives, category managers, and business development teams.
  • Collaborate with distributor partners to establish territory growth plans and sales objectives
  • Conduct regular joint sales calls with distributor personnel to promote the company's beverage portfolio.
  • Deliver product training and sales presentations to distributor teams to increase brand knowledge and selling effectiveness.
  • Monitor distributor performance, inventory levels, pricing compliance, and promotional execution.

Chain Account Management

  • Manage relationships with regional and national multi-unit restaurant, hospitality, healthcare, education, and convenience retail accounts within the assigned market.
  • Identify opportunities to secure new beverage placements and expand existing business.
  • Present beverage programs, promotional initiatives, and category management insights to customers.
  • Support new account openings, menu transitions, product launches, and chain rollouts.
  • Conduct business reviews with key decision makers and provide recommendations to increase beverage sales and profitability.

Business Development

  • Travel throughout assigned territory to prospect and develop new business opportunities to increase market penetration.
  • Execute annual sales plans and market growth strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
  • Utilize CRM and sales reporting tools to track activities, opportunities, and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, and customer service teams to ensure successful execution of customer programs.
  • Ensure merchandising, promotional programs, and brand standards are executed effectively throughout the territory.
  • Participate in industry trade shows, distributor events, customer meetings, and foodservice association activities.
  • Represent the company professionally as a brand ambassador in all customer and distributor interactions.
  • Provide timely market intelligence and competitive insights to company leadership.

        Education and Experience Required: High school diploma or equivalent required.ย  Bachelorโ€™s degree in business or related degree, preferred (a Sales/Marketing degree or concentration, preferred).ย  Job-related food/beverage distributor sales experience, preferred. ย  Proven track record of achieving sales growth and volume targets.
