Job description

Commercial Glazing Contractor currently seeking experienced Glaziers, Superintendents, Lead Men with minimun 3 years Curtainwall Experience. .

About the position: We have immediate openings for Lead Curtainwall Mechanic, Field Superintendents and Lead Glaziers. If you have Curtainwall experience, this could be a perfect fit! In this position, you will work on a small team while installing, Curtainwalls, Storefronts, and Entrance Systems.

Responsibilities - Superintendent/Lead Curtainwall Mechanic (including, but not limited to):

  • Manage teams in the field (typically 4-person, up to 8)
  • Layout of Curtainwalls and Storefront systems up to 4 stories
  • Installation of Curtainwalls and Storefront systems
  • Installation of glass and other glazing materials
  • Installation of glazed canopies, skylights, glass guardrails, mirrors, glass marker boards, etc.
  • Installation of hardware and other materials associated with the above items
  • Fabrication of systems as needed

Qualifications and Requirements - Installer/Fabricator (including, but not limited to):

  • Minimum of 3 Years of commercial Curtainwall glazing experience
  • Driver’s license/good driving record
  • Commitment to safety and quality
  • Occasional paid training
  • Able to work safely at heights (low-rise), indoors/outdoors, throughout the year
  • Able to lift and carry about 75-100 lbs
  • Overtime
  • Occasional travel
