Job description

This position is eligible to telework up to one (1) day a week, in accordance with the Statewide Telework Policy, and will be required to report to the office as needed/required. This is subject to change based on operational need and/or future return to office orders. The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment.

Under general supervision of the Senior Real Estate Officer, Supervisory, the Staff Real Estate Officer position in the Real Estate Leasing & Planning Section (RELPS) works independently to perform the more complex and difficult tasks related to all aspects of leasing programs in accordance with guidelines of the Department of General Services (DGS), Real Estate Leasing and Planning Section (RELPS) policy and procedures manuals, DGS strategic plans, State Administrative Manual, and California Government Code.
This position is designated under the Conflict of Interest Code. The position is responsible for making or participating in the making of governmental decisions that may potentially have a material effect on personal financial interests. The appointee is required to complete Form 700 within 30 days of appointment and once per year.
This position may require travel.
Per CCR 249.3, this job control may be used to fill subsequent vacancies.
