Job description

DevSecOps Engineer
Must have:
  • 7+ DevOps Engineer
  • Linux or Yocto (Mosaic or Kirkstone)
        • 5 years of relevant experience building, designing, and implementing CI/CD pipelines for Linux-based embedded software development projects.
  • CI/CD must have
  • Azure DevOps
  • Experience in Observability and monitoring setup with tools such as Datadog, Elastic Search or Centralized monitoring tools will be big plus
  • AWS cloud deployment experience would be a huge plus
  • JFrog Artifactory - nice to have
We are looking for a seasoned DevSecOps Engineer with expertise in embedded Linux systems, CI/CD automation, and cloud security to join our Central DevOps team. This is a contract opportunity, reporting to the lead senior DevOps engineer on the project. The role supports development and deployment across a Linux-based embedded IoT platform and includes cross-site collaboration with other DevOps resources.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for embedded Linux platforms (Yocto or Debian-based).
  • Manage and maintain infrastructure security and monitoring systems.
  • Provide technical guidance on cloud security best practices, including IAM, network segmentation, encryption, and on-premises system hardening.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of build processes, security controls, and automation workflows.
  • Support AWS cloud deployment and assist with secure infrastructure setup and scaling.
  • Collaborate with platform teams and centralized DevOps team members to drive DevSecOps initiatives across environments.
  • Set up and support observability tools like Datadog, Elastic Search, or similar centralized monitoring solutions.
  • Work with Azure DevOps for pipelines, repository management, and team workflows.
  • (Optional) Manage artifact storage and release pipelines using JFrog Artifactory.
Required Qualifications:
  • Solid experience as a DevOps or DevSecOps Engineer, especially in embedded Linux or IoT environments.
  • Hands-on expertise with Yocto (Mickledore, Kirkstone, Mosaic) or Debian-based embedded platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance.
  • Practical experience with infrastructure security and cloud security principles.
  • Proven ability to document and manage secure build processes and automated workflows.
  • Experience deploying and managing workloads in AWS.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps and modern DevOps toolchains.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with JFrog Artifactory or other artifact repositories.
  • Familiarity with observability and monitoring platforms such as Datadog, ElasticSearch, or similar tools.
  • Background working with Waters Cloud environments is a plus.
  • Exposure to hybrid infrastructure (cloud + on-prem).
