Exciting Opportunity for Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician in Richmond, VA!
Join our dynamic Maternal Fetal Medicine practice in vibrant Richmond, Virginia! We are seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified MFM physician to be a part of our team at a well-respected hospital within a large and comprehensive healthcare system. St. Mary's Hospital, the flagship location, provides exceptional care and resources to the community, ensuring you will be supported in your practice.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Open to part-time with guaranteed hours or full-time candidates.
  • Work in an outpatient practice setting.
  • Full coverage provided for a new position.
  • Manage outpatient clinics, consults, and limited inpatient procedures.
  • No deliveries required; focused on consult-only services.
  • Collaborate with a 2+ physician MFM team.
  • Utilize two outpatient clinic locations supported by Nurse Practitioners.
  • Perform minimal procedures such as cerclages and in-office amniocentesis.
  • Engage with Level 2 and 3 NICUs covered by dedicated neonatologists.
  • Available opportunities for various employment types, including Medical Director and part-time roles.
  • Practice uses Viewpoint and EPIC systems.
  • Minimal experience requirement for new/upcoming fellowship graduates welcome.
Qualifications:
  • Board Certified in OB/GYN.
  • Truly Board Eligible or Board Certified in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
  • Fellowship-trained in MFM (must be completed prior to start).
  • Recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active).
  • Virginia medical license (or willingness to obtain).
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain).
  • Clean malpractice and license history.
  • Preferred: At least 1 year of MFM work experience (not including fellowship).
License and Certification Requirements:
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN.
  • Fellowship-trained in MFM.
  • Virginia medical license or willingness to obtain.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • DEA certification (must be obtained prior to start).
