Job description

This position is based in Greensboro, North Carolina - relocation is not included. This is a flexible/hybrid position and will require time in an office. This position will provide architectural, developer and coding support across three teams. This position will span Java, Quarkus, Spring boot AKS services, NodeJS services with Apigee, Github Actions, Devops as well as UI (AEM, Angular, React). Being in the lead position the individual will be responsible for code reviews and the health of the applications. Leading the team as a mentor and having a go-giver attitude is critical skillset. At times, the lead developer will be required to code, (plan, build, triage, QA, etc) to ensure delivery timelines. Deep technical knowledge in this position is required and the ability to learn quickly new technologies is critical.

Job Summary:

This senior level employee is primarily responsible for translating business requirements and functional specifications into software solutions, for contributing to and leveraging the technical direction for the development of integrated business and/or enterprise application solutions, and for serving as a technical expert for project teams while providing consultation to help ensure new and existing software solutions are developed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum five (5) years experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (e.g., SDLC).

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field and Minimum eight (8) years experience in software development or a related field. Additional equivalent work experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
