Clean Harbors is hiring for a Project Operations Manager (internally known as an Implementations Program Leader) to sit in our Norwell, MA office. In this role you will facilitate and be responsible for the onboarding of the company's newest largest customers. You will work with key stakeholders across the company and develop an activation program focused on contract initiation, system(s) set up and accuracy, supply chain efficiencies, service, and support team readiness, as well as an integrated sales and commercialization strategy. You will lead a critical role in ensuring we deliver superior customer onboarding experience.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the end to end onboarding and implementation of new customers, coordinating across all functional areas of the organization to ensure seamless client experience.
  • Develop, manage, and execute comprehensive project plans including scheduling, milestone tracking, risk identification, and issue resolution utilizing appropriate project management tools and methodologies.
  • Partner with Operations and Customer Service teams to deliver a consistently high standard of service to clients throughout the implementation lifecycle.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively, ensuring the right personnel are engaged at the right stages of each project.
  • Produce and maintain all project related documentation and collateral, ensuring materials are accurate, current, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide regular, structured status updates and progress reports to management and cross functional team members, proactively surfacing risks and recommended actions.
  • Manage a concurrent portfolio of projects, balancing priorities and resources to meet commitments across all active engagements.
  • Serve as a decisive leader and key decision maker, driving alignment and momentum across internal teams and client stakeholders.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field required; 3-5 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Proven experience in implementation project planning and management, with a demonstrated ability to lead complex, multi stakeholder initiatives from initiation through completion.
  • Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent) preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and present confidently to large groups including senior executives and clients.
  • Strong organizational and task management abilities, including prioritization, goal setting, planning, delegation, and disciplined execution across multiple workstreams.
  • Critical thinker and effective problem solver, able to assess challenges quickly and drive practical, well reasoned solutions.
  • Collaborative team player with a proven ability to thrive in a team oriented environment, building strong working relationships across functions and levels.
  • This position is based in Norwell, MA.
