Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior DevOps Engineer to play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud-based infrastructure. We continue to grow at a record pace, providing huge opportunities for our employees to grow and really make a difference. This position is integral to the development, testing, and successful launch of new and exciting server-based electronic gaming products in our e-gaming division. Primary Roles and Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain our AWS infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability.
  • Develop and implement automation scripts and tools for infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Manage and optimize our containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Bitbucket, and other relevant tools.
  • Utilize Terraform to manage infrastructure as code, ensuring consistency and reproducibility.
  • Collaborate with development teams to automate the creation and management of diverse testing environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and application issues.
  • Implement and maintain comprehensive monitoring and alerting systems.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our DevOps processes and practices.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and security standards.
  • Proactively identify bottlenecks and eliminate exposure to points of failures.
  • Partner with the Cyber security engineering team to respond quickly to new and emerging vulnerabilities, with emphasis on how they affect the build, testing, and tooling environments.
  • Perform duties with a strong attention to detail, and in compliance with Arrow International's policies and procedures.

Requirements

Experience and Education

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent industry certifications or experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of overall IT experience, with at least 5 years of specialized experience in DevOps engineering.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, and EKS.
  • Proficiency in version control systems, particularly Git, Atlassian Bitbucket, and Perforce.
  • Strong experience with containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Expertise in CI/CD pipelines and tools, with expertise in Jenkins preferred.
  • Experience working with NuGet and NPM.
  • Experience migrating and upgrading existing processes and services a plus.
  • Proven experience with infrastructure as code tools, specifically Terraform.
  • Experience in automating the creation and automated maintenance of various testing environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Strong scripting skills.
  • Strong documentation skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience working in highly regulated industries, particularly gambling or charitable gaming, is a significant advantage.
