Description
Under general supervision of the Director of Facilities, the Facilities Intern assists the facility maintenance team in ensuring the building, equipment, and grounds are safe, functional, and well-maintained for residents, staff, and visitors. This role provides hands-on experience in general facility maintenance within a healthcare environment. This role will help with quality improvement initiatives related to tracking and recording the history of capital assets at Stonehill.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Working towards a 2-year technical college course of study in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field
  • Construction or Maintenance Management Experience
  • Familiarity with blue prints and mechanical systems
  • Strong basic math and mechanical abilities
