At ALLO, we believe people are our biggest asset. Our team brings the ALLO mission to life because as local members of each community, we live, work, play, and volunteer right here with you. We're passionate about being involved and contributing to the success and progress of each of our GIG Communities.
We pursue these passions because ALLO leaders have created a workplace where folks are valued, ideas are heard, and leaders and teammates show up for each other at work and in life.

We are looking for a highly motivated college student eager for an opportunity in sales. As a Sales Operations Intern, you will get a front-row seat to how a successful sales organization operates. While you will provide crucial administrative support to the business sales team-with a high focus on data integrity and cleanup projects-this role is designed as a learning opportunity. You will gain valuable insight into the sales process, database management, and operational efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

  • The fundamentals of the end-to-end sales process and how sales operations support revenue growth.
  • Hands-on experience navigating and managing data within Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems (like Salesforce).
  • How to identify process gaps and visually map out business workflows.
  • Best practices for data hygiene, documentation, and sales resource management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with data cleanup and validation projects within our CRM and other sales databases to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Support the sales team with administrative tasks, such as updating sales-related documentation and resources.
  • Help document and create visual flowcharts of current sales processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist in maintaining and organizing content on our Sales and Sales Engineering SharePoint sites.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Operations team to support various projects and initiatives, attending team meetings to gain insight into daily operations.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • A student actively pursuing a degree in business, preferably with an emphasis in sales, operations, or a related field.
  • Highly motivated with a strong interest in learning the sales process.
  • No prior professional experience is required; this is a learning opportunity tailored for a current student.

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • A strong desire to learn and a proactive, can-do attitude.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (like Salesforce) is a plus, but not required.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • This is a temporary, paid internship position.
  • Work hours are flexible and can be adjusted to accommodate a college schedule.
  • This role can be performed in-office or in a hybrid remote/in-office capacity. In-office is preferred.

People are our passion. At ALLO, we don't treat you like a number. You're a human being.

Get ready to plug into the perks at ALLO:

  • Free internet? You bet. Plus, awesome discounts on other ALLO services.

  • Retirement Plan: The fiber future isn't the only one we care about. We match your 401(k) savings up to 5%.
