As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between software development and IT operations to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of our infrastructure. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated deployment pipelines and infrastructure as code to support continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes. Your work will ensure that our cloud-based environments, primarily Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure, are secure, highly available, and optimized for performance. Collaborating closely with development teams, you will troubleshoot and resolve system issues, streamline workflows, and contribute to the overall improvement of our software delivery lifecycle. Ultimately, your efforts will enable faster, more reliable releases and support the companyโ€™s commitment to innovation and operational excellence.


Responsibilities include:

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using industry best practices to automate software build, test, and deployment processes.

  • Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure on AWS, ensuring high availability, security, and cost efficiency.

  • Write and maintain scripts in languages such as Python and Bash to automate routine tasks and improve operational workflows.

  • Implement and manage containerization technologies like Docker to support scalable and consistent application deployments.

  • Configure and maintain configuration management tools such as Puppet to automate system provisioning and configuration.

  • Collaborate with software developers, QA engineers, and IT staff to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.

  • Maintain artifact repositories using tools like Artifactory to manage build artifacts and dependencies effectively.

  • Continuously evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies to improve system reliability and deployment speed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance required at time of application; candidates without an active, in-scope clearance will not be considered.

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Proven experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) in a production environment.

  • Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash for automation purposes.

  • Hands-on experience with containerization technologies, specifically Docker.

  • Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Terraform and or similar.

  • Solid understanding of Linux operating systems and command-line tools.

  • Familiarity with artifact repository management, preferably using Artifactory.

  • Must be eligible to work on U.S. government contracts and able to maintain the required clearance and polygraph status (if applicable) for the duration of the role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AWS certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.

  • Experience with additional infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.

  • Familiarity with other scripting or programming languages beyond Python, such as Go or Ruby.

  • Experience working in Agile or DevOps team environments.
