The Senior DevOps Engineer will improve the delivery effectiveness of technology teams, allowing them to deliver business outcomes more quickly and with less toil while maintaining adherence to compliance and standards. They will automate the product development lifecycle, optimize the engineer experience and create reliable and resilient software system.

This position will be with National Indemnity Company in Omaha, NE with a hybrid 50% in the office work environment. This position is not eligible for employer visa sponsorship.

What will you do?

  • Automate deployment, testing, and configuration management processes to help reduce errors and improve efficiency, making tasks faster and more consistent

  • Help technology teams navigate complex architecture, tools, and services by building curated self-service platforms that improve engineering experience, delivery speed, process agility, and delivery of business value

  • Build CI/CD pipelines to automate the end-to-end process of building, testing, and deploying applications

  • Curate reusable components, tools, services, and knowledge to build golden paths and paved roads creating easily repeatable best-practice patterns

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience

  • 5+ years related work experience in Azure infrastructure

  • ADO/GitHub - SDLC process
