Job description

KENT WORLDWIDE™ is seeking a technically strong and collaborative Senior Software Developer to lead ERP development, integration, and automation initiatives across the enterprise. In this role, you'll lead the design, development, and support of solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O), Supply Chain Management, Commerce, and the Microsoft Power Platform.
You'll deliver scalable ERP solutions, enterprise integrations, and business process automation that improve operational efficiency and support digital transformation. Working closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and IT partners, you'll develop innovative solutions using D365, Power Automate, Azure, and DevOps tools.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design, develop, and support customized solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O), Supply Chain Management, and Commerce.
  • Develop and maintain Power Automate workflows to automate business processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions and system integrations.
  • Design, build, and support integrations between D365 ERP and internal/external business applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex application, data, and integration issues while providing Tier 2 and Tier 3 support.
  • Participate in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Utilize Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD practices to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.
  • Conduct code reviews, maintain development standards, and promote best practices across the development team.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional teams, and IT partners to deliver effective technology solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage automation, AI-assisted development, and emerging technologies to improve processes and system performance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND/OR QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a computer related discipline, 6+ years of relevant experience, or the combined equivalent
  • 6+ years of software development experience, including experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise business applications.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting and developing solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) or Supply Chain Management is required, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce is preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience developing and supporting Power Automate workflows and business process automation solutions.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, object-oriented design principles, and application development best practices.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, source control practices, and CI/CD pipeline development and support is helpful.
  • Experience designing, developing, and supporting integrations between ERP systems and enterprise applications using APIs, web services, and other integration technologies.
  • Proficiency with SQL databases, database design concepts, and data troubleshooting.
  • Working knowledge of Azure services and technologies, including Key Vault, Security Center, networking, firewall, policy management, log analytics, and private endpoints.
  • Familiarity with cloud architecture concepts and Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM applications, Azure integration technologies, and ERP integrations is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives, contribute to solution design, establish development standards, and drive continuous improvement efforts.
  • Strong collaboration, relationship-building, and communication skills with the ability to effectively partner with business stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional technical teams.
  • Proven ability to mentor team members, influence technical decisions, and communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently manage complex technical issues.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while leveraging automation, DevOps practices, and AI-assisted development tools to improve outcomes.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & TRAVEL
  • Hybrid office environment; this role is required to be on-site for a minimum of two days per week
  • Minimal travel required
