Job description

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
The DevOps Engineer will focus on the efficient process design of infrastructure delivery, the automation of services within the infrastructure stack, and process development and automation for application release management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Deploy, automate, maintain and manage Azure cloud based production system to ensure the availability, performance, scalability, and security of productions systems.
2. Build, release and configuration management of production systems.
3. Perform system troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domains.
4. Suggest architecture improvements and recommend process improvements.
5. Evaluate new technology options and vendor products.
6. Ensure critical system security through the use of best in class cloud security solutions.
7. Provide continual service improvement: automate manual implementation tasks across on-premise infrastructure and Azure.
8. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Technical degree required in such disciplines as Computer Engineering, CPA, etc, plus 3 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
