As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving high availability, resilience, and automation for multiple key applications. Joining our team, you will help design and support robust cloud infrastructure, maintain state-of-the-art containerized environments, and establish reliable CI/CD deployment strategies. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies like Azure, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes, directly impacting the speed and reliability of nightly, long-running healthcare workloads. You will partner closely with our development and support teams to drive continuous improvement, proactive system monitoring, and operational excellence.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support blue-green, rolling, or canary deployments to minimize downtime for multiple high-availability applications
  • Provision, manage, and optimize cloud-based infrastructure (e.g., Microsoft Azure) using modern automation tooling
  • Maintain and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes to ensure environment consistency across regions and deployments
  • Monitor, support, and troubleshoot application runtime health, including JVMs, APIs, batch failures, scheduler issues, and file-processing errors
  • Optimize job performance and execution windows, especially for nightly and long-running healthcare workloads
  • Partner with development and QA teams to drive operability improvements, deploy reliable rollback strategies, and coordinate production releases
  • Implement and maintain comprehensive system monitoring, alerts, and dashboards to support proactive incident prevention and provide runtime insights
  • Participate in on-call and production support rotations, leading incident triage, recovery, and root cause analysis (RCA) while ensuring proper documentation

Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions to address complex business challenges with emphasis on responsible use of AI.

Required Qualifications:
 

  • Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of Software Engineering
  • 6 years of professional experience in software development or technical support
  • 5 years of experience writing SQL queries for Oracle databases
  • 3 years of experience in an IT systems support or production support role
  • 2 years of experience utilizing shell scripting for task automation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Professional experience provisioning and managing infrastructure using Microsoft Azure and Terraform
  • Professional experience with Java development, debugging, or support
  • Demonstrated strong analytical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with a proven track record of partnering across development and operations teams

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $91,700 - $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
