Job Summary:
YouVersion is a ministry of Life.Church, committed to reaching people worldwide through innovative technology. The Senior DevOps Engineer will ensure the integrity and reliability of cloud-based infrastructure, oversee software development, and respond to site reliability issues.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Develop and maintain software to automate and support infrastructure operations and ensure seamless deployments.
โ€ข Explore and evaluate solutions to meet business needs that lead to implementing solutions and evaluating the outcome.
โ€ข Limit system downtime by defining and enforcing operations and development standards.
โ€ข Perform regular maintenance and monitoring for cloud infrastructure systems and services.
โ€ข Monitor application performance and service-level indicators to ensure that objectives are met.
โ€ข Respond and initiate incident responses for high-severity site reliability issues.
โ€ข Implement and enforce infrastructure and application security controls.
โ€ข Research new solutions, improvement areas, and best-practices.
โ€ข Define, document, and enforce processes and standards around cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices.
โ€ข Develop and train Site Reliability Engineers on technologies and best practices.
โ€ข Monitor and steward infrastructure and development-related costs.
