Medical Device Assembler (Operator II) at Menlo Park, CA
As a
Medical Device Assembler (Operator II) , you will be responsible for:
Job Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assemble medical devices and electro-mechanical components according to work instructions and quality standards
- Operate and maintain hand tools and power tools safely during assembly processes.
- Perform visual inspections and precision measurements to verify product quality and specifications.
- Conduct functional and performance testing using computerized test equipment.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and rework assemblies using microscopes and specialized tools.
- Ensure compliance with FDA, Quality, regulatory, and safety requirements.
- Accurately package finished medical devices, verifying labeling, and complete required documentation.
- Maintain cleanroom or controlled manufacturing environments.
- Document inspection results, test data, and production activities for full traceability.
This is a Full-Time Contract opportunity.
Schedule:
- 1st Shift: 4:00 AM - 2:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 1:30 AM
The Ideal Candidate will have:
- Minimum 2+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in medical device or electro-mechanical assembly
- Experience working with small, delicate components using microscopes and precision tools
- Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Knowledge of QA/QC processes in a regulated manufacturing environment
- Experience in a machine shop or clean manufacturing/cleanroom environment strongly preferred
- Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and correct minor defects
- High School Diploma or GED required
Pay Rate: $22.00 - $25.30 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
