Social Worker (Northern Quebec) Employment conditions: Willing to work in the area mentioned and ideally owns a means of transport. Full-time / Part-time – Variable shift. Salary: Up to $72/contract plus other benefits (bonuses, transportation reimbursement, continuing education plan, etc.). About Asicc-Med – Mobile Health: Since 1992, Asicc-Med has been supporting health facilities, rehabilitation centres, schools, community organizations and home services throughout Quebec. Our mission is to offer professional, humane services tailored to the needs of each individual in order to promote their autonomy, social inclusion and well-being. Our values: Respect Kindness Professionalism Integrity Collaboration Job description: We are looking for Social Workers to work with various client groups in hospital settings, CLSCs, CHSLDs, rehabilitation centres, schools, community organizations, youth protection services and home services. The social worker contributes to the assessment of the social functioning of users, to the development of intervention plans and to the support of individuals, families and groups facing personal, family, social or environmental difficulties. Main responsibilities: To assess the social functioning of users and identify their needs. Develop, implement and monitor psychosocial intervention plans. To support users and their families in resolving social, family or psychosocial issues. To carry out individual, family or group interventions. Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and clinical discussions. Directing users to the appropriate resources within the health and social services network. Defend the rights and interests of users when required. Collaborating with community, institutional and governmental partners. Prepare evaluations, reports, progress notes and other required professional documents. Ensure that records are kept in accordance with professional standards and Law 25. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in social work or social service. Member in good standing of the Order of Social Workers and Marriage and Family Therapists of Quebec. Experience in psychosocial intervention (an asset). Knowledge of the Quebec health and social services network. Excellent interpersonal, listening and communication skills. Ability to work independently and within an interdisciplinary team. Organizational skills, professionalism, and clinical judgment. Proficiency in spoken and written French.
