Job description

Do you have experience supporting children or adults who are living with autism or developmental disabilities?

If so - you are encouraged to consider a full-time Independent Assessor position with Liberty Healthcare.

Role description

As an Independent Assessor you will administer structured assessments to individuals.  These assessments will be used to determine their eligibility for valuable home and community-based services which promote independence, wellbeing, and quality of life.

What you'll do

  • Lead video and in-person meetings with children and adults who are living with autism and developmental disabilities
  • Interview family members, guardians, and caregivers
  • Administer structured assessments
  • Write reports and make recommendations
  • Help determine eligibility for services that support greater independence and community inclusion

Work setting

  • You will primarily work remotely from your home office
  • You will periodically be required to travel throughout the region for in-person meetings
