Senior Project Manager, Land Development - Frisco, TX!
Halff has an immediate opening for a Senior Project Manager in our Frisco office with our Land Development team. The ideal candidate brings at least 8-plus years of civil engineering experience with a focus on large scale and complex land and site development. Project experience in the Dallas/Fort Worth or Greater North Texas Region preferred. Project experience requiring large scale public and private infrastructure improvements, a plus. The position requires strong design and technical expertise, project management skillsets, and client communication. What will you do:
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary project team coordinating directly with clients, sub-consultants, and other design team members for successful completion of projects meeting client expectations, project deadlines, and quality standards.
  • Timely and responsive communication with client, addressing their needs, keeping them informed of project status, and acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Identify and pursue new project opportunities by leveraging client interactions, market awareness, and professional networks.
  • Coordination with municipal and/or other authorities having jurisdiction for project requirements, submittals, process flow, and approvals.
  • Ownership of project technical design and production efforts as project engineer of record.
  • Supervise and provide project technical design and plan direction to Engineer in Training (EIT), Lead Engineer (PE), and technical staff, while assisting in their training and development.
  • Coordination of projects through full project life cycle from concept to construction.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently, at various stages of design, permitting, and construction.

What you will need:
  • Bachelor or Master's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an ABET accredited University.
  • PE License in Texas.
  • 8+ years of experience in Land Development.
  • Work in-office a minimum of 4 days per week.
  • Strong experience working in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Positive attitude as a team member and willingness to contribute to a collaborative workspace.
