Description:

Position Summary:

The Senior Producer is responsible for all aspects of a specific production or a portion of a larger-scale live event, ensuring margin goals for individual shows or projects and overall budget management. This position produces all aspects of B2B events, including budgeting, hiring, client interaction, reconciliation, and execution, or parts of events as assigned. This position may assume responsibility for leading and developing direct reports in the future based on business needs and organizational growth.


Job Responsibilities:

Budget development and management: Create, maintain, and ensure accuracy of budgets; monitor and return required margins; maintain detailed records of all expenditures, PCNs, and billings, and work closely with the Director of Budgeting and Project Management to maintain and reconcile all budgets in a timely manner.

Procurement and Contracts: Negotiate vendor deals that most benefit the company and the client; identify staff required for program fulfillment; and identify, negotiate, and secure freelancers and third-party support

Proposals: Develop proposal scope and budget in conjunction with the creative, media, and meeting services teams; develop the show budget that meets client-stated objectives; provide all required production elements as required by the creative team; identify staff required for proposal fulfillment; and identify, secure, and negotiate freelancers and third-party support

Video Production: Work alongside the video team to execute and supervise the production process of video creation, including timelines, production schedules, remote shoots, and client deliverables

Pre-Production: Collaborate with other teams to activate and drive creative elements, including videos, productions, talent, etc.; work with technical production department to secure all needed technical staging and freelancers; supervise and facilitate team communication; set and enforce all deadlines; identify and ensure all client deliverables are met; develop production schedules, show flows, production timelines, etc.; hire all freelance staff as needed; and direct production coordinators and/or associate producers in the creation and maintenance of LEO-central communications

Event Implementation/Execution: Manage flawless execution of all elements on-site; identify and manage PCN's as needed; coordinate all team members, including creative, talent, production, and technical; ensure all client initiatives and requirements are met

Post-Production: Reconcile all invoices, contracts, and budget as listed above; create a post-show assets folder physically and digitally


Requirements:

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

· 8+ years' experience in producing large B2B events for Fortune 500 companies

· Experience with virtual event platforms

· Strong budgeting and project management skills

· Tech savvy with a solid understanding of business software applications, including MS Office Suite, Keynote, Dropbox, Adobe Acrobat, Asana, and other basic software; Adobe Creative Cloud, and other graphic software a plus

· Ability to manage teams and work independently

· Excellent mentorship qualities to aid in the development of others

· Strong executive presence and confident decision-maker

· Proven ability to manage production with budgets exceeding $1 million

· Highly organized, excellent communicator and collaborator

· Proactive approach in anticipating and handling assignments and potential conflicts

· Able and willing to travel 20+% and to work nights and/or weekends as needed

· Able to work remotely
