Job description

Description
 The Intern will receive on-the-job training.  The intern's primary purpose is to learn and develop an understanding of the overall operation of their assigned department. This is a leadership development position for college students. The Intern Leadership Trainee will be given the opportunity to participate in a variety of focused developmental activities, assignments, and rotations over 8 weeks. During this period, the incumbent will develop an understanding and skills to lead and influence within the Values-Based Leadership (VBL) culture using Holt’s leadership language, tools, models, and processes. 

Essential Functions
  • Receive coaching, mentoring, and feedback from leadership
  • Works safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards
  • Requires regular and punctual employee attendance
  • Performs other duties as assigned 


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Basic computer skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Basic math calculations and the ability to read, write, and understand work instructions


Requirements
Education and Experience:   
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree program with a current emphasis in Agriculture, Business, Sales, or a related field.
  • Must be actively enrolled in a University or College program with an anticipated graduation year of 2026-2027
  • Must possess a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative GPA

  • This role frequently communicates with others, must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
 
Work Environment:
