POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking a motivated Operations Intern to join our Houston team. This internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience through the development of a capstone project in healthcare administration while supporting our operational team. The preceptor will offer diverse learning experiences based on departmental priorities and initiatives as well as individual interests.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation)

  • Provides administrative support for clinical and non-clinical leadership.
  • Assists with administrative tasks, data entry, and analysis, as well as document management.
  • Attends various meetings with clinicians such as clinical governance board meetings.
  • Collaborates with team members on various projects and initiatives.
  • Assists in preparing reports and presentations as needed.
  • Participates in team meetings and contributes ideas for process improvements.
  • Assists with special projects as requested relating to practice growth and development.
