About the Role Vrana Civil, Inc. is seeking a Construction Field Intern to work directly with our field crews on active civil construction projects. This is a laborer-level internship designed for individuals who want hands-on experience performing physical construction work while learning industry fundamentals. Interns will support daily field operations, learn proper construction practices, and gain exposure to heavy civil work in a real jobsite environment. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform physical labor tasks including site cleanup, material handling, and ground support
  • Assist laborers, operators, foremen, and superintendent with daily field activities
  • Learn and use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
  • Support grade checking, layout assistance, and basic measurements
  • Help prepare work areas, move materials, and maintain jobsite organization
  • Follow all safety policies and participate in toolbox talks and safety meetings
  • Complete additional labor-related tasks as assigned by field supervisors
Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled at an educational instructional studying a construction program
  • Strong interest in construction and willingness to perform physical field work
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and jobsite conditions
  • Reliable, hardworking, and eager to learn from experienced field personnel
  • Capable of lifting materials and working on your feet for extended periods
  • Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
