The Critical Environment Operations Coordinator is responsible for supporting the operational integrity and logistical coordination of mission-critical infrastructure within a data center environment. This role combines technical expertise in critical systems (electrical, mechanical, HVAC) with logistical oversight of equipment, materials, and vendor coordination to ensure seamless operations and uptime.
Key Responsibilities:
Logistics & Inventory Management:
  • Coordinate the receipt, storage, and movement of critical equipment and materials.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records of spare parts, tools, and consumables.
  • Schedule and oversee deliveries, ensuring compliance with security and safety protocols.
  • Support asset tagging, tracking, and documentation of infrastructure components.
  • Collaborate with program managers to ensure that work is appropriately prioritized and that resources are available for repairs needed.

Vendor & Contractor Coordination:
  • Liaise with vendors and contractors for scheduled maintenance, repairs, and equipment deliveries.
  • Ensure all third-party personnel comply with site safety and operational procedures.

Documentation & Compliance:
  • Maintain detailed logs, reports, and documentation for audits and compliance.
  • Assist in the development and enforcement of standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Safety & Risk Management:
  • Enforce safety standards and participate in risk assessments.
  • Support emergency response drills and incident investigations.

Procedure Management:
  • Manage the procedure matrix by making sure all procedures are up to date
  • Task out writing procedures to CE technicians and manage workflow to client for approval
  • Work with program managers to ensure procedures are accessible and accurate for work execution

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in data center or critical infrastructure environments or any field with Logistical requirements.
  • Experience with logistics, inventory systems, and vendor coordination.
  • Familiarity with CMMS is helpful.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments.

Estimated compensation for this position:
66,000.00 - 97,000.00 USD per year
This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
