Description
Be at the center of the firm’s trading operations, supporting multiple trading groups and partnering with traders, finance, engineering, exchanges, and clearing firms. You’ll help keep daily trading activity running smoothly while improving controls, solving operational challenges, and building more automated, efficient, and dynamic processes.

What You’ll Do
  • Oversee daily trading operations, serving as a key liaison among trading teams, clearing firms, exchanges, Finance, and Engineering.
  • Monitor and reconcile trades, positions, cash, and clearing activity throughout the trading day, investigating and resolving discrepancies as they arise.
  • Partner with Finance to maintain accurate books and records, support daily and month-end reconciliations, and ensure operational data flows correctly into financial reporting.
  • Work closely with Engineering to design, automate, and continually improve operational processes, controls, reporting, and exception-management tools.
  • Coordinate with exchanges, clearing firms, brokers, and other external partners to resolve issues, improve workflows, and support efficient and scalable trading operations.
  • Monitor critical operational and risk processes, proactively identifying exceptions, escalating issues, and coordinating resolution across internal and external teams.
  • Support corporate actions, position and trade lifecycle events, clearing activity, and infrastructure cost allocation.
  • Document procedures, strengthen operational controls, and reduce manual work and operational risk through process standardization and automation.

The base compensation range for this role is approximately $60,000-$90,000 contingent on experience. Wolverine Trading's total compensation model includes base salary and an annual discretionary bonus.
