Job DescriptionStep into a high-impact leadership role as the Development Officer at Hedrick Medical Center and Wright Memorial Hospital, driving strategy and philanthropic growth!
  • Cultivate major donors, corporations, and community partners!

  • Oversee annual giving and employee campaigns!

  • Partner with leadership and the Foundation Board to drive key initiatives!

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Minimum 2 years applicable experience

  • 4 days a week; 8 hour days; flexible scheduling

The Opportunity

The Development Officer has a wide range of customers, both internal and external to the Chillicothe and Trenton, MO hospitals. This position works with administration, department directors, managers, auxiliary leadership, the Foundation Board, major individual supporters for programs and key initiatives, corporations, foundations, community volunteers and organizations. The differentiation for this officer position is that it will assist in planning and implementing the Foundation annual gifts program including support of the employee community giving campaign, all fundraising activities for donor acquisition, renewal and lapsed-donor programs, direct response mailing activities and projects, and grant making program soliciting special gifts from corporations and foundations. In addition there are direct contracts and relationships managed with friends and supporters with this development officer.
