We are currently looking for a R&D Lab Coordinator to work together with the Production, Quality and R&D teams and play a key part in continuing our strong tradition of producing the highest quality color cosmetics. This position will demand a strong eye for color matching and an attention to detail as well as the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise.


Requirements
  • Approve/Reject Production Speed Check and print design
  • Check production schedule daily to determine which SKUโ€™S are being produced
  • Collaborate with Production Manager about daily scheduling of speed checks
  • Collaborate and confirm with Color Lab regarding prepared batches for daily production
  • Check inventory of raw materials needed for newly approved shade formulas scheduled for production
  • Check and update live shade tracker to keep track of existing shade development projects
  • Collaborate with Product Development and Marketing on Holiday, Monthly, and Seasonal promotions
  • Generate/retrieve production retains and maintain all documentation accordingly
  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures and guidelines
  • Familiarize and become proficient in using Batch Metrics system
  • Assist in the formulation, testing, and evaluation of 100% nail polish strips and other cosmetic innovations (e.g., gels, coatings, adhesives).
  • Conduct raw material screening, prototype preparation, and stability testing
  • Document all formulation trials, test results, and updates following Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) standards
  • Stay updated on cosmetic formulation trends, materials, and international regulations relevant to nail and beauty product development.


Requirements:


  • BS in Chemistry/related field or Coatings experience (preferred)
  • Must be able to see and evaluate color effectively
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
